my name is Celery. Sometimes my finnish friends call me Selleri or Sellers. I'm a silly guy from FINLAND!!! first spotted at Tampere on the first of may, 2007. I popped into the world exactly at 5AM, how cool is that? maybe that's why my sleep schedule is always fucked up.

I'm an artist, therian + otherkin, queer, fat, autistic, but most notably a furry. I've been a furry for as long as I can remember. I don't really recall ever finding joy in drawing anything else than anthropomorphic animals, even as a kindergartner. I've honed my furry art skills all my life! I don't consider myself an exceptional artist, but not bad either, just average. I draw mostly for fun or for payment for other things, like other people's art, characters/designs, trades for items, etc. I can wear out super easily and avoid taking on big projects, though one exception to this is artfight! I recall my online furry art journey beginning sometime around 2016. I discovered animation memes out of all things. I was so blown away by seeing people make their fursonas come to life through animation. I then discovered flipaclip and started making my own animation memes... I've went under many aliases, but the most notable is Eltsuki. On my youtube channel under that name, I uploaded my animations and made a small following (~2k subscribers) of which most were also finnish. The finnish furry animation meme community of the late 2010s will forever be a memory I hold dear. It shaped me into who I am today, and despite all the drama and trauma (guaranteed in any online furry circle..), I am happy I went through it. I met many friends I still talk to today, and some I consider my best friends. Without that community I wouldn't have met these incredible people (luv u guys so much!!!!!).
Around 2020 my motivation for animating started dying down, but I didn't fully quit til 2021. As I grew older, I grew more critical of my art. Every frame had to be clean and perfect. It was mentally exhausting and i couldn't keep up with my own demands anymore, I didn't find animating fun anymore. That's when I started properly focusing on static digital art. I made an instagram account (huge mistake, never go on da gram) and learnt to use ibispaint x. Some years later, I started begging my parents for a drawing tablet (or graphics tablet, the screenless kind). They gave in and bought it for me for my 13th (or 14th?) birthday. They were NOT happy to find out I mostly used it to play OSU! and not to draw XD. I did eventually start drawing with it as well. It was a Wacom One Small (ctl-472). Back then I used Paint Tool Sai, later switching to Sai 2. Currently I use Clip Studio Paint PRO. When I managed to break the tablet, I bought the exact same one again. After the whole AI advertisement fiasco with Wacom, I switched to Huion. Currently I use a (PINK!!!) Inspiroy 2 S and I love it. YAY!

I am always open to new friends and mutuals! I love getting to know people, though it can often be hard on me.
I can appear very energetic most of the time, but often times that is masking. I try to match the energy and style of whoever I am talking to. It is very exhausting and I may take a lot of time to respond to casual/non-business related messages due to this. With close friends I feel more free to be as I am. Me masking around you doesn't mean I don't trust or like you, I just can't drop the mask unless we are truly close, sorry!! Please take no offense to this. I also have other issues with social situations and can get nervous and overwhelmed, so please take that into account and be patient with me! I appreciate it <3
